Angelina Jolie arrives in Pakistan to meet those affected by floods 

Angelina Jolie visited Pakistan Tuesday to help those affected by the heavy rains and flooding in Pakistan.  

The actor, who is the Special Envoy to United Nations for Refugees from 2011, also met with the victims.  

In photos and videos shared on Instagram by fans, she was seen chatting with the victims and shaking hands.  

The floods in Pakistan in June claimed hundreds of lives, destroyed hundreds of thousands of homes and left half a billion people homeless.  

Angelina visited Dadu, where waterborne disease has caused almost 300 deaths since July.  

Angelina was praised by her fans for her humanitarian work. One fan wrote, "Respect." 

Another commented, "Bless her beautiful spirit." And a third wrote, "Heart-winning lady."
