Christmas movie release scheduled to release in Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie-starrer "Babylon"

Los Angeles, Oct 19 (IANS) Cinephiles in the US will have an amazing time watching a movie during the Christmas season.

Damien Chazelle's Hollywood epic "Babylon," which stars Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie as the lead characters, has been set US release date for December 23rd.

Paramount initially planned to launch the film in select theaters on December 25, then expand the movie to all cinemas on the 6th of January.

Sources familiar with 'Babylon claims that the earlier release date speaks to the studio's faith in the project, one that has the cost of production at $78 million according to "Variety".

The announcement comes a day following Sony altered their release plans for the Tom Hanks-starring film "A Man Called Otto" which was originally scheduled to hit theaters across the nation on the 14th of December.

It will be released in select theaters on December 25 and will be released across the country on the 13th of January.
