Wu, according to the New York Times says she opens up about the experience in "Making A Scene" her memoir.
Wu only mentions the producer by his initials, but Wu claims that the man harassed Wu during the first season of the show in 2015.
Wu also stated to the Times that 'Fresh Off the Boat was my first TV show." I was thrust into this world. I don't have any parents who work in this industry.
People thought I knew everything I was doing because I was 30 years old. I was paranoid and embarrassed."
Variety received a galley copy of the book. Wu claims that the producer asked her to send him selfies and that she should make all business decisions with him.
Wu also claims that the producer forced her to attend a Lakers game.
He touched her thigh, grazed her crotch, and then became cold after she asked him to stop.
Wu claims that the producer and Wu stopped speaking after an argument about Wu's decision not to attend an Asian American film festival in order to allow her to recover from the hectic schedule of the show.
