Demi Moore has been criticized for breaking the rules of the Louvre her dog

Demi Moore published a photo of her and her dog at Paris' Louvre

despite the museum's strict rules that prohibit pets from entering.

The actress has been spending a portion of her summer vacations in Europe and has made it a point to go to Paris, the French capital as one of her places of travel.

But her decision to bring Pilaf her dog along with her to the iconic museum has attracted critique.

"Pilaf takes the Louvre," Moore wrote along with her picture of herself and her dog in the Louvre to her 2.9 million Instagram followers.

The disregard for the rules imposed by famous institutions is seen

by some commentators on social media as an act of entitlement as shown by the Hollywood celebrity.

Although museums are said to be pet-friendly, in the United States, European institutions including the Louvre have strict guidelines that are followed by visitors.
