Family Guy Season 1 Had A Different Meg

Lacey Chabert voiced Meg Griffin on Family Guy for the show's first season. 

So why did she leave the show? Although Family Guy would eventually attract huge fans but the show had a difficult time in its initial times.

The show was created by Seth MacFarlane (The Orville) who also voiced Peter Griffin, the dimwitted main character. 

Peter is notoriously rude as well as rude, disrespectful, and petty as well as hilarious. 

The show follows his family members, including the wife Lois as well as their children Meg, Chris, and the evil genius Stewie. 

Although Family Guy had a cult fan base in its first season but the low ratings resulted in it being pulled from the air in 2002.

However, thanks to the word-of-mouth and the growing popularity of the show, it grew as time went on, resulting in strong DVD sales. 

The show's revival was announced at the end of 2005 and since then, the show continues to air since then.

The show's mixture of wacky humor, celebrity guests, and gross gags has proved to be an effective formula, even though certain fans believe that, just like The Simpsons, the show's peak may be over
