Former ESPN Host Rachel Nichols Announces Next Career Move

Rachel Nichols is returning to the spotlight. She announced on Friday that she announced 

she has signed a deal in partnership with Showtime Basketball in a multi-platform role. 

Nichols will serve as a producer and host for Showtime Basketball. The network produces docuseries, podcasts as well as other programs. 

In a statement issued by the network, Nichols expressed her excitement about this new chapter of her career.

"I've been blessed to have had the opportunity to work with the most talented journalists for over 25 years. 

This new development agreement in partnership with Showtime Sports gives me my the broadest playing field to date," Nichols said in the statement. 

"They've been asking me to produce and host brand new sporting programming across multiple platforms while working with Hall of Famer, 

numerous players with championship rings, and an extremely creative crew behind the camera. We're going to have a lot of fun."

Nichols was last employed by ESPN.
