But, Cameron also doesn't want you to take your children to the cinemas according to his interview with Total Film (via Variety)

"People are saying"Oh my God! an all-family movie from Disney? It's what we're looking for. ...' It's not that kind of family tale."

James Cameron elaborated further on what kind of family-oriented story Avatar The Way of Water will be by saying "This is a family story like how The Sopranos is a family story."

If this is the case then Cameron is correct that this is not a story that is aimed at children.

As amazing as The Sopranos is, it's fairly safe to say nobody would ever like to show their children the things Tony Soprano and the rest of his New Jersey crew get up to.

James Cameron also talked about the fact that Avatar: The Way of Water will be running for three hours and 10 minutes.

This means you should be cautious about buying that big soda before you go to the theater, particularly considering all the water projected on the screen.

This means that Avatar: The Way of Water will last thirty minutes more than our previous visit to Pandora and will be Cameron's longest film following Titanic.

The film has many stakes which is why fans need to be out in force to ensure the success of the series.

Even though James Cameron has plans for three sequels, the box-office results that was exhibited by Avatar: The Way of Water will determine the fate of those sequels.
