James Cameron: We Have to Find if People Show Up in Theatres for Avatar 2

In 2009, the film James Cameron's Avatar premiered in cinemas. 

The film became an icon in motion-capture-based CGI which was a new technology that the director created specifically in the course of making the film. 

Avatar was a huge success that broke all records for box office revenue and held the top place as the top-grossing movie ever till Avengers: Endgame came out. 

The legacy of Avatar goes far beyond numbers at the box office as it opened up many possibilities for sci-fi and fantasy films due to the technological advances it brought, and much more. 

Three times Academy Award-winning filmmaker is returning to the blockbuster,

which features Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang and will be in theaters for a second run in the same week, 

just three months before it's sequel Avatar: The Way of Water will hit the screens in December 2022.
