Jason Momoa wasn't able to bring his pet pig to the film's premiere 'Slumberland' so he came up with an alternative.

Real-life Jason Momoa's pet pig did not make it to the premier on "Slumberland."

The actor was at the premiere of the film in Los Angeles on Wednesday, in which he revealed to Entertainment Tonight that although he was hoping to bring the animal to the premiere the pig was at home.

"Oh, he's in Hawaii! He's a wild boar therefore I can't take him," said Momoa, who instead took to the red carpet wearing animal stuff.

"I think it would've been pretty gnarly, though."

In  Slumberland," Momoa plays an eccentric outlaw called Flip and guides a young orphan (Marlow Barkley) and her toy pig that has become really an imaginary world.

Momoa has revealed that he adopted a pig following filming with the animal.

"This is the reason why I am unable to do work with animals. I'd like to take them back home. Wild and wild as his dad," he wrote on Instagram.

Momoa is finally the name he picked for his pet - in a debate in between Lau Lau and Manapua.

Also, he has a donkey as well as two half-wolves.
