JK Rowling and Ezra Miller appear to have killed the "Fantastic Beasts” franchise

Warner Bros has halted the development of Fantastic Beasts due to ongoing controversy with JK Rowling as well as Ezra Miller (a nonbinary actor),

Three films have been made in the Harry Potter spinoff series. However, Variety recently announced that no new projects are in development.

According to Pink News, the third film, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore was the lowest-grossing Harry Potter-related movie.

It premiered April 1, and there was talk of it being the final edition.

Many are not surprised by the production stalling because of JK Rowling’s anti-trans statements and the scandals surrounding Miller (who plays Credence Barebone) in the movies.
