Kesha's mom explains Cannibal’s Jeffrey Dahmer lyrics

Pebe Sebert, Kesha's mother, has admitted that she wrote the controversial lyrics about serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer for her daughter's song "Cannibal". 

Many have suggested it was inappropriate for the victims to name-check him in the song. Evan Peters is also starring in 'Monster.

She also said that she included his name in her song because it was fitting the rhyme. 

In a TikTok video, she said: "Some context on a lyric that's bothering people twelve years later. All opinions are valid. This is not meant to be a deterrent.

The whole Jeffrey Dahmer song in "Cannibal" is currently a hot topic. Because that was the line I wrote in "Cannibal", I thought I'd share a few thoughts.

Pebe continued to insist that the songwriters had "never meant for to hurt anyone" and she is sorry for the loss of loved ones.
