See Jason Momoa's Salary For Aquaman 2

The King of Atlantis has been making a lot of money.

Jason Momoa, the lead actor in Aquaman's 2018 success, negotiated a new deal that "essentially doubled his salary" to make the sequel.

Variety reports that Momoa will make $15 million for Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom.

Arthur Curry is not the only one who is seeking raises for DC Comics' most beloved characters.

Joaquin Phoenix has been eyeing $20m for Joker: Folie a Deux.

This is more than four times the amount that the actor earned for his Academy Award-winning role in The Joker.

Joker 2 is still being developed, but Momoa's second Aquaman has been completed and will be released next March.

Momoa's $15 million is well within the reach of many of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, compared to his Marvel counterparts.

According to reports, Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson earned $20 million for their roles as stars in Thor: Love and Thunder and Black Widow.

Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom will be in theaters on March 17, 2023.
