Musician Diane Luckey, known as Q Lazzarus, has died at the age of 61.

The musician is famous for his performance of the track Goodbye Horses in the 1991 film 

The Silence of the Lambs and the song becoming popular as a hit.

Luckey has been confirmed to have passed away on the 19th of July

with an obituary announcement from Jackson Funeral Home being published at the close of the month.

It says that, at the moment of her passing she was working on an feature documentary on her life 

music alongside her filmmaker friend Eva Aridjis, which will be released posthumously in 2023.

As per Rolling Stone, Luckey died due to a minor illness and Aridjis declaring to the publication
