Singer R. Kelly, already behind bars ordered to pay victims

R. Kelly, the multi-platinum R&B artist who was twice convicted this year of sexual crimes

will have to pay at minimum $300,000 to restitution for some of the victims of his crimes according to a federal judge on Wednesday.

The amount will pay two women, named Jane and Stephanie who are victims of

the expense of herpes therapy and treatment, U.S. District Judge Ann Donnelly said at a hearing in Brooklyn.

That number is likely to increase as prosecutors reconsider the price of drugs for Stephanie.

Donnelly refused to grant prosecutors requests to pay Jane for the loss of income

Kelly participated in the court hearing through Zoom, from the Federal prison located in Chicago.
