Snoop Dogg says he might have to buy Twitter while Elon Musk’s bid is on hold
Snoop Dogg went viral after he said he may be purchasing Twitter right now following the announcement that Elon Musk's $44 billion acquisition was put on hold.
The rapper Snoop Dogg said he may take a shot at buying Twitter in the event that Musk's bid of $44 billion to purchase the social media giant is in limbo.
Musk's announcement on Friday that the deal was "temporarily on hold" over the number of fake accounts appearing on the website
"May have 2 buy Twitter now," Snoop tweeted.
The rapper who's legally known as Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr made a bid to be the next Twitter owner
tweeting jokes about how he's planning to replace the board of directors with Jimmy from my neighborhood Fish Fry, Tommy Chung [sic]
Snoop added that he'd mark everyone with an 'emergency' blue checkmark,
even bots with the letters 10 in their names that smack you in DMs, and then simply respond: "Hello." Nah I'm not f**king those bots.'
In the event that Snoop Dogg was serious about purchasing the platform, his offer is much less than Musk,
