Source: Disgruntled Jets The WR Elijah Moore requests a trade

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. --- New York Jets wide receiver Elijah Moore, frustrated by his inactivity on the team's offense, asked for the team to trade him on Thursday, a source familiar with the situation told ESPN.

Moore's request was first announced via NFL Network, came on the day Moore was excused from training for what was referred to as"a "personal day."

The coach Robert Saleh, in brief remarks to reporters on the field, explained that Moore was allowed to go home due to an issue in the family.

PARAGRASources have said that Moore's absence was directly related to his anger over his behavior according to one source.

Another source also said Moore expressed his displeasure with members of the group.

It got to a level that Saleh along with offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur thought it was better to have Moore quit the team for a week to let his feelings -as well as theirs be at peace.
