Stranger Things season 5: The Duffer brothers have a big modification for the season's final episodes

Stranger Things' creator's Stranger Things have unveiled a method to make the show better for its final season.

Netflix launched the first season of the show's fourth season. It is the penultimate episode, beginning in the month of May.

The last two episodes launched earlier in the month.

The episodes took longer for viewers to consume because the majority of them had long run times.

In previous seasons, when episodes had been averaging 50 minutes,

however, the majority of the episodes in season four ran for around 1 hour 20 minutes, with the final episode taking two hours and 20 minutes.

Reviews of the series are generally positive, however this isn't stopping fans from agreeing that the episodes could be shorter.

The creators of the show, Matt and Ross Duffer appear to have acknowledged this by saying that on the Happy Sad Confused podcast season five will have shorter episodes.

"The only reason we don't expect to be as long is, this season, if you look at it, it's almost a two-hour ramp up before our kids really get drawn into a supernatural mystery," they told us.
