Cops step in after ‘frustrated’ Ted Cruz clashes with Montana airport staff

A still frame from a video posted on Reddit shows Sen. Ted Cruz at a Montana airline county.

Police were called after Sen. Ted Cruz reportedly got into an argument with airline workers at a Montana airport.

A person who posted a video of the incident on Reddit claimed that Ted Cruz had an argument with airline workers, after allegedly missing his flight.

The video only showed Cruz interacting with the police officer.

The person said that the police were called when the Texas senator wouldn't calm down.

The person who posted the video later added that they didn't think "he was directly verbally abusing airline staff".

Allegedly made "thinly veiled threats towards the employment of the people involved."

Police officer who was there to resolve the situation was Scott Humphrey and a deputy director of Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.

After the Police officer stepped in to assist, Cruz booked another flight and left Bozeman later that evening, Humphrey said.
