Singer, Actor and Reality TV Star Traci Braxton has died at age 50 following cancer battle.

Toni, announced the news of her sister's death in a statement shared on Instagram Saturday. 

"It is with the utmost regret that we inform you of the passing of our sister (Traci Braxton)," she wrote alongside a black-and-white image of herself and her siblings 

According to Traci’s family, Braxton had been battling cancer in the esophagus.

Traci Braxton Born in 1971, she was known for her roles in films like "Sinners Wanted" and "Chaaw" as well as the stage play "There’s a Stranger in My House." 

Traci released a solo debut album, titled Crash & Burn, in October 2014. The LP was released after her popular single, "Last Call." 

Traci Braxton also appeared on her family's reality show, Braxton Family Values, which premiered in 2011
