Dwayne Johnson says ‘unpopular’ complaint he made to Warner Bros led to Black Adam
Dwayne Johnson said that he needed to be against the grain after joining DC Universe.
Johnson did not like the idea of Black Adam being introduced in the same movie.
The actor explained to Vanity Fair that the first draft of the movie was a mixture of Black Adam, Shazam and both origin stories.
Johnson said, "Now that was our goal, so it wasn’t surprising." But when I read that, it was clear to me that we couldn't make this movie as this.
It would do Black Adam a great disservice. Johnson led the charge at Warner Bros to split the films into two.
