Wanda Sykes: If She'll Ever Host the Oscars Again After Will Smith Incident

Wanda Sykes is addressing whether she'll ever present her own Academy Awards again.

Sykes the 58-year-old appeared on Live with Kelly and Ryan Tuesday when she revealed to hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest that she's not interested in hosting the annual awards ceremony in the near future.

"Oh, hell no," Sykes replied to Seacrest's question. This prompted laughter from the hosts and the audience.

"I shouldn't say it like that," Sykes said. "You know what, it was an amazing honor and I think it's something that you want to do.

You do it once... I don't know if I would want to do it again. It's a huge job, and it took a lot of people to clean me up."

Sykes hosted the 94th Academy Awards, which was held on March 27with the comedian Amy Schumer and actress Regina Hall.

The event quickly became popular for Will Smith's rage during the live show; Smith, 53, was seen on the Dolby Theatre stage in

Los Angeles and hit comic Chris Rock after he took off with an ode Rock (57) made regarding his wife Jada Smith.

Smith, possibly appearing in the G.I. Jane sequel, referring to her hair being shaved.
