Warner Bros. CEO wants a 'Harry Potter sequel. However, the fans - and even the actors - might not be in the mood for it.

although the world of wizards is still alive through the spinoff films like "Fantastic The Beasts of the West and How to Discover Them" in addition to the "boy wizard" series' myriad of other merchandise opportunities.

However, one Warner Bros. exec doesn't believe that Harry Potter's story should end.

"We haven't made a Superman film in 13 years. We haven't made a Harry Potter in 15 years," said Warner Bros.

Discovery Director David Zaslav during an investor conference call on Thursday, according to The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline.

"The DC movies and the Harry Potter movies provided a large portion of the revenue of Warner Bros ... in the last twenty-five years."
