Will Ferrell Told Jimmy Fallon that the "More Cowbell Sketch was the cause of Christopher Walken's Life

Will Ferrell joined Saturday Night Live's Five-Timers' Club (the unique designation given to those who have been on the show for SNL 5 times).

So naturally, Will Ferrell made the obligatory stop at the adjacent 30 Rock stage of The Tonight Show along with Jimmy Fallon to shoot the insanity and have a lot of fun with his ex-SNL co-star.

Following a discussion about plans for Thanksgiving, Boston, and Dunkin Donuts, the conversation changed to the well-known SNL sketches.

The first one that came out? You've guessed: "More Cowbell," in which Blue Oyster Cult is recording "Don't Fear the Reaper" featuring Will Ferrell on the titular instrument, and Walken as producer of the group.

The truth is that Walken -- who's enjoyed a lengthy, prestigious profession as an dramatic actor has been affected by the cowbell since from the time it was first heard.

Ferrell claimed that he attended a show which Walken was in and the actor said to him following the performance:

"You know, you've destroyed my life. People in the curtain call bring cowbells to sound them.

A few days ago, I was out for an Italian food menu and the waiter asked whether I would like to have more cowbells to accompany my pasta Bolognese."

It's difficult to determine how irritated Walken is over the seemingly effortless jokes.
