Youngkin apologizes for Pelosi attack comments

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin sent Speaker Nancy Pelosi an apology letter for his remarks that made light of Paul Pelosi, her husband.

Youngkin is a Republican who was furious with Democrats by stating at a political event that took place on that same day October. 28 assaults against Paul Pelosi:

A Pelosi spokesperson confirmed that she had received the apology from the Speaker, and it was sent out on November. 1.

A statement by Youngkin released by his official office condemned the violence and claimed it was an "personal note" between him and Pelosi.

"My primary goal with my remarks was to clearly affirm that the violence and the type of violence perpetrated against the husband of Speaker Pelosi aren't just inadmissible the way it is, it's absolutely unacceptable.
